Miko Picnic Boxes are a simple, elevated way to enjoy good food outdoors. Freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients, each box is made to share and designed for easy pick-up. Perfect for a day out in the gardens with family, a casual catch-up with friends, or an easy takeaway date.

Browse our available picnic boxes and select the one that suits your group.
2. Select your pickup time
Choose the date and preferred time you’d like to collect your box from Miko Café.
3. Order & pay online
Secure your booking in advance. You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately.
4. Collect from Miko Café
Visit us at the Auckland Botanic Gardens at your selected time and show your confirmation email.
5. Enjoy your picnic
Find a beautiful spot in the gardens or take it away and enjoy your Miko picnic experience.
No. Picnic boxes do not include rugs or seating. We recommend bringing your own picnic rug or enjoying the many outdoor spots throughout the gardens.
Pre-ordering is required. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. If you have an urgent booking requirement, please call us on 09 269 3407 and we’ll do our best to assist.
Picnic boxes are prepared as set selections. If you have dietary requirements, please let our team know ahead of time via the booking form or by email so we can advise what’s possible.
Yes, we’re able to cater picnic boxes for larger groups. Pricing may vary depending on numbers. Please email us at miko.cafe@ovationhospitality.co.nz to discuss your requirements.
As picnic boxes are prepared in advance, cancellations or refunds are not available once an order has been confirmed. Please contact us as early as possible if you have any concerns with your booking.
